기존 자율주행에서는 주행 환경에 대한 모델링을 휴리스틱 기반으로 진행하는 것이 일반적인데 이럴 경우 그  complexity가 증가할수록 computation cost가 크게 증가하기 때문에 real-time 동작을 필수적으로 만족시켜야 하는 자율주행의 분야 특성상 해당 방식은 한계가 있다. 본 연구실에서는 이러한 한계를 돌파하고자 AI와 전문가의 주행 데이터를 활용하여 휴리스틱 기반 모델링 없이 safety를 보장할 수 있는 연구를 진행하고 있다.
